Yes, 8 months after my Xbox 360 breaking and me buying some TIP cleaner and some Silver thermal paste to fix it, I actually managed to bother to buy a little toolkit from Maplins today, take both the crappy xclamps off my 360 which had laid in bits under the living room lounge for so long, cleaned all the old, browny TP off and then applied a little dribble in the centre of the CPU, graphics (x2) chips. Shiny and new. Put it all back together and.........

.... IT WORKS OMG.

Tested for 5 minutes on COD Black Ops.. SO HAPPY LOL.

a fair few modern cars come with "winter pack" which will generally include headlight washers and heated washer jets.

some cars even have heated wipers (my dads lexus for example). unfortunately no winter pack on my golf so no heated washers but imagine that. if you were stuck in a forest in the middle of nowhere you could turn your car into a make shift shower by turning the washer jet nozzles around. add some bubbly stuff and you'd be good to go.

The £10 extra for a set of 4 michellin alpin 3 jobbies or some Dunlop 3Ds or whatever was really too much. Annoyingly on Wednesday the place selling them put their prices up by a tenner. Bastards.

As for overpreparing, well there's food, a shovel perhaps, don't most cars come with heated washer jets anyway? Alternatively use some anti-freezing screenwash. That way you can wash while it unfreezes and freeze while you wash. dawg.

yah totally my audi wheels will be going away for a while until happier weather approaches.

i'm hoping my rattlecan paint job will hold but not too worried if it won't. i'll try to stickerbomb the wheels if possible, that means if i sold the car i'd have an unmolested set of wheels to put on. just gonna get a stickerbomb book as an early xmas pressie

I had powerline ages ago. It was crap. Fine for basic browsing but online gaming, voip, teamspeak, large file downloads, would create so many collisions, interference, all that crap...was unusable.
